I'll be a change going from one to the other but you should be able to transfer your files back and forth. The Mac version of windows explorer is the finder.

First cell enter 1 feb 2015. 2nd cell under the 1st enter 2 feb 2015. Highlight both cells and drag the fill handle. Should fix your problem.

You can update the ipad, just don't click yes to upgrade to iCloud Drive. However if you use any of the web applications (pages, numbers, etc.) you'll need to upgrade to iCloud drive for those to work.

Edited: J. A. beat me to it. Settings -> icloud -> account Under advanced section choose mail then choose advanced and you can change the default "delete" action to delete or archive under discarded message actions.

Check Delta or United's websites for seats with power. One of these days I'm going to take the inflight magazine home which lists which seats have what. I want to say anything A320 and up (and newer) is suppose to have USB power in each seat.

I finally got over my phobia and have been letting icloud do a nightly backup with a "whenever I get around to it" copy with itunes. Figure the icloud backup will get me up and running long enough to get back to the computer. Really the only thing I'd need off itunes would be my playlist syncs...
