wow... thanks for the response but um.. this thread is 2 years old :D but yes, they offered to let me trade it in for credit towards a new one, but only for around 300 (this was the 500 dollar ver IIRC) decided not to, was mostly just a cosmetic dent in the side of the case. iPad worked fine...

yep, no repairs, but they offered to replace it for 350 straight swap (32gb 3g) I had them make sure the dent would not affect cooling or anything, they confirmed it would not, and everything still works, just a cosmetic issue. so going to opt for the 39 dollar apple case for it and forget...
