Actually it's completely easy. Doh! the charger cable doubles as a data transfer cable, you plug it into the usb port on your pc, and it wordles a bit and then, lo and behold, the ipad appears as a drive on the pc

I managed (I think) to backup the photos from a very old Ipad (ios 5.1.1) to icloud backup Then I installed I cloud on the PC, I can see the backup, but I can't find out how to download it onto the pc. 3 screenshots below What am I doing wrong please? or alternatively how else can I recover...
