If you own an iPod then you dont need more than 16 GB because your iPad wont be used for music but for apps and surfing the web. I used to have a 32 GB iPad i exchanged it for 16 GB wifi+ 3G. Because my music library is small

I Believe The New iPad will be announced next year in April and will be released in Winter time 2011. Because if they will announce it now just after 5 months of its release no one will buy another iPad and there prices will drop so Steve jobs shall wait for a year before the release of a new 1 :D
