There's already a new version of TU, which arcoding to the developer fixes something related to CDMA iPads. So update to 5.00.09 and try again.

@notcomjust tweeted there was an error in TU and that the new version (5.00.08) should fix the problems people had.

No, that's wrong, Apple didn't update the baseband for the iPad 2 neither in 4.3.4 nor in 4.3.5, so of course they are still signing it. That's definitely not the issue here.

Because the iPad 2 (new processor and all) doesn't have a bootrom exploit (yet). That's what is needed to get around the "baseband problem".

Yay... more senseless accusations.... If you consider the email to be false, why should we hear something from him today then? Did he say it? Did he give a deadline himself? Nowhere to be found (still considering your assumption the email is bogus). It's all just been exagerated to a level...

As long as the firmware for the baseband (3g modem) isn't updated as well you can also downgrade a 3G model. But if Apple isn't stupid they simply update the baseband firmware as well with 4.3.4 (and so stop signing the "old" baseband version) to fix that loop hole.

I'm on my second Canvas (the first one broke on 3 edges....), and that one just cracked as well.... Oh well.....

They labeled their article wrong. It's not about 4.3.3 but only 4.3 since they link to the pdf specific for 4.3 and not the one for 4.3.3 (which, as you already have read here multiple times doesn't work anyway....)
