    I take my own ipad to school most days for my special needs class of kids who operate at a preschool to grade one level. They love it, learn from it, and only two of them are not responsible enough to use it on their own. I think this is a great idea.

    Big Button Music app Well, folks, my son got to try the Big Button app, and he could use it right away. Thanks again for all your help. And, yes, maybe it isn't laziness, but just that no one has got around to resizing the buttons yet. Still, all things are possible with apps.

    Hi all! I have an ipad, and my special needs son has one, too. I have tried using mine in my special needs classroom - it is so motivational! I am always on the lookout for apps for my son, for my class and for myself - I recently downloaded the Kindle app, and I bought several books.
