Thanks, I was recluctant to reset it without asking around first. It seems to have done the job with no unwanted consequences (that I have noticed so far anyway).

This morning my iPad Mini offered to update iOS and I accepted. An hour later it is stuck at about 33%. I have connected it to power to give it time to complete but I don't think that its going to happen. Has this happened to others? Any recommendations on the best way to recover? Concerned...

Resetting the iPad serms to hqve fixed the problem, thanks. Safar seems to be generally faster now. Perhaps it was an "out of memory" issue.

For the past few days, Safari repeatedly gets about 25% of the way into loading a page and gets stuck. No problems with the same page in Windows or Android browsers or even Firefox on the iPad. Am I alone is is this a common, unwelcome problem? Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

My iPad has worked for 9 months on dynamic DHCP, suddenly, today, it stopped working. There was a tick next to the router in WiFi Settings but no wireless icon at the top left of the screen. I have an MOV file from my Canon camera which has been edited in QuickTime. Is there a way (there must be away) to send this movie to others via DropBox or iCloud? Attempts to do this so far, result in the iPad saying that it can display the file. [EDIT] It seems to be working now. Not sure...

I think that I have found the answer. When I timed it with a stop watch, the time was 10 minutes, to the second. I couldn't find a 10 minute time out anywhere, on the iPad or Apple TV, but I did notice that Mirroring as turned on in AirPlay. Turning it off seems to have fixed the problem.

It's still doing it, the player pauses and AirPlay turns off, both spontaneously. Any suggestions.

When I play music via AirPlay, the Music Player pauses for no apparent reason. I have to turn AirPlay back on and press Play (>) to resume. Has anyone else's seen this problem and, more importantly, does anyone know how to fix it?

One application was BPMonitor but I don't think that was the only one. I have been careful to tap rather than tap/hold but that doesn't seem to help. I have also tried pasting, even to another application, still no luck. Eventually the problem goes away but I am not sure what does it.

Sometimes, possibly in specific applications, when I touch an area that should bring up the keyboard, I get the Paste option instead and it seems impossible to get the keyboard. Any suggestions? I have a new iPad Mini with that latest iOS. I really like the iPad Mini by the way.

When restoring the iPad 1 backup to the Mini, is there any control over what it restored? Thanks for the quick reply by the way. [Edit] Actually, everything is pretty well updated. Synchronising Pages and Numbers happened eventually, it's just not immediate.

I assume that you are talking about the feel of the screen. All that I can say is that it feels that way. Perhaps the screen just needs a lighter touch register the keys.
