So no fix with a new SIM...guess I'm off to the Apple Store to see what they say

Anyone else had or heard of this? My 3G ipad2 is now only a wifi, cell data stopped working a few days ago completely....almost as if the cell signal vanished. APPLE and ATT say I may need a new sim card....has anyone had this happen before, what causes it?

I think the iPhone / iPods take a 1amp but will also charge from a 2.1...where the iPad requires a 2.1amp

No, but mine shows up briefly and then disappears unless you select it very quickly before it does, then it will enter the option menu. I hve never seen it before today so it piqued my curiosity

On the lighter charge....have you purchased an iPad specific charger? It uses a different voltage than the iPhone so you need to get one specifically for the iPad I love the albums+ also.....great tweak
