I rented a movie from iTunes and am having trouble downloading it onto my iPad 4th gen. I deleted a number of apps to make room for it. My "usage" reads 7GB and the movie ("Mud") is only 4.8GB. It'll start to download, get to a certain point and then restart - and just keeps cycling.

It seems that I'm deleting videos like TV shows or movies and not getting back all the disk space. I know for sure that I have nothing saved in "Mail" but "Usage" still shows about .5 GB being occupied. Is it possible that the iPad isn't returning all the unoccupied space?
