Yesterday when I plugged the iPad into my windows computer it DID recognize the USB device and I was able to transfer some files back and forth. Today the windows computer is back to not recognizing the USB device and finding the iPad in recovery mode when I force itunes on my iPad.

Before upgrading I used to be able to synch to my Mac at home and talk to my PC at work to copy files back and forth to good reader and iPad Office. Now the PC at work reports the iPad is in "recovery" mode and wants to wipe the iPad before continuing......how can I fix this?

I linked the iPad to both computers before the upgrade...

When I forced windows to reload the driver itunes reports the ipad is in recovery mode and wants me to restore.....since I just did an upgrade that is the last thing I want to do. How can I use my ipad with this computer?????

The PDF file is on a USB jump drive....it's when I'm away from my computer that I'm talking about.

So if I want to stick a USB ram drive into my camera connectivity kit and copy a PDF file to my iPad I have to "jailbreak" my iPad? That seems extreme. But I rooted my droid phone to get tethering and so far the world hasn't stopped spinning. Any reason not to jailbreak my iPad? Any way to...

I play from chord charts as I refuse to read music ... So for score is perfect for me....I used my iPod at practice last night & it was nice...once I master the page change thing

Thanks...found some info...can't believe apple limits their device like this...

It seems when I have the page expanded a bit to see better, page turning is impeded.

Jailbreak???? Total noob here.

Will any of the reader programs read files from the camera connectivity kit? SD or USB drive?

PDF reader pro is in the top 10list on iTunes...

Yep...picked up for score over the weekend...as soon as I figure out the page turning gesture...
