Ok, after spending hours being stump, I finally bit the bullet and bought a tp-link Wifi router and all is well... Still don't know why only the Facebook app was affected... So now I have a spare d-link router.

Thanks Andrew for your help, I'm travelling for the next few days.... It seems to be good at the airports now, don't know why it doesn't work at home? Will see how it goes when I gat back in a couple of days.

Unfortunately not, everything like safari works, it's just this Facebook app that's doing it.... driving nuts bc I can't figure it out.

The Facebook app on my mini only works with 4G, & I get a network error message when I'm on Wifi? Anyone seen this before?

All good this morning! No unwanted batt drain at all. My screen nrightness is set midpoint. I do use 3g quite a bit and being in autralia the signals quite weak some areas & that accounts for more batt drain in use... What should I do next? Keep installing back my apps one at the time to find...

Oops I left out an important detail in my first post: the batt drain occurs whilst the iPad is asleep... Which is also what I should be doing right now - lol. Good night everyone! :)

yeah i'm 1/2 thinking it could be one of the updated apps in the background that's draining the battery. I've just now deleted all apps I don't think i need and just waiting for a 100% charged so I can totally close all apps and put the iPad to sleep & see what happens tomorrow morning...

Hello, can you help? I've updated all my apps on my iPad and am now experiencing woeful battery life. I'm loosing at least 11-14% battery every hour is anyone experiencing this and does anyone have any suggestions? I'm running os4.3.5.
