What exactly are you trying to sync in the folder? You can sync exchange server (mail, calendar, folders) as long as your company has it and allows it.

If your main concern is BBC news and videos, there's a BBC app for iPad that is free. The iPad is not a computer replacement by any means. I do find myself using it more than my notebook though. Do your research and think about what you really need it to do.

I've had many conversations where people ask me why a Mac is better and no matter what I say it's dismissed as me being a fanboi. I've noticed on most mac forums there are certain users who troll looking for a fight and toss the term fanboi every time they cannot defend their accusations...

I used an 8GB crucial SDHC card with it just fine.

I'd also make sure the video is encoded in a format that can be used by the ipad. I've used SDHC via the camera kit without a problem. I did have an issue with a Micro SD but got it to work after a couple of tries (I didn't have the micro pushed in far enough).
