^+1 JMO, but if you have to ask, then stick with what you have. For me, I've been planning to buy an iPad for 3 months now & decided to see what the new price on the 2 would be vs the specs on ver3. In the end I pre-ordered the ver3. The retina is easily worth $100 to me.
