    That's interesting. I never had this "Bluetooth pairing request" from Apple Pencil as shown in this Apple article! Ah. Forget what I said. This will show up at the first pairing with AP plugged in… Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    As I said, I have the problem only when I turn off IPP with active BT connection to AP. If the BT sign is greyed out when turning off or switching on Airplane mode on IPP, they will pair the next time IPP is on again and I move AP. I am on 9.3.1. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    I found out, how my Pencil-IPP-combo apparently works. If my Pencil is inactive (i. e. standby after some idle time) and I THEN switch IPP off or put it in Airplane mode, the next time I boot IPP or turn off Airplane mode, Pencil reconnects when moved.     Strange. Mine is working now. I put my IPP into air plane mode last night until I remembered, that I wanted to turn it off during nights. The senior adivisor I spoke to told me, that hadn't I mentioned the problems using my finger (in contrary to twerppoet, I could reproduce the issue using a light touch of my finger), he would have said, Apple is not responsible for third-party-devices...

    Oh, so you guys had to pair your Pencil once and then it connected automatically with IPP each time on boot etc.? With mine, I had to connect Pencil every time I boot or deactivate airplane mode (I put it to airplane mode during nights). It is not possible to connect from Bluetooth menu of IPP...

    Yes, with the Pencil it is no problem, I admit. But I like to have all options handy, so if I am feeling to use my eBrush or a Wacom stylus for drawing, I want to be able to use it without problems. :) I hope, this will be possible to fix by software update.
