Stylus: Targus versus Stylus-R-Us Roger iWand

Mountain Doodle works nice. No pressure needed ...

Stylus: Targus versus Stylus-R-Us Roger iWand

Thanks for the tip. I don't know yet if I lean toward having a heavy hand, as I have little experience. (Last time I used the stylus, was on the Palm, mainly before I moved to the Treo, which had a nice keyboard,) Back then the screen was pressure sensitive, so one needed to apply some pressure...

Stylus: Targus versus Stylus-R-Us Roger iWand

The best would of course be to have a pressure sensitive stylus, so you could draw thinner and heavier lines depending on pressure, but I guess that's not possible on a capacitive screen like this ... Maybe I'll give S-R-U a try -- when I get some funds available ... :)

Stylus: Targus versus Stylus-R-Us Roger iWand

Well, I seriously hope the Targus/Griffin/Boxwave styluses aren't as bad as the terrible el cheapo one I've got. I saw Dagi demonstrated on YouTube, and it looked much better ... Anyway, I am still not sure if I'll prefer stylus vs finger at all in the end, so I'll try to get hands-on...

Stylus: Targus versus Stylus-R-Us Roger iWand

Stylus + iPad = 42 ? ;) Maybe it's just me, but this is all a little confusing. First we read all these people saying in reviews (Amazon and more) "OMG this Pogo stylus is the best ever" ... Then a little later that one sucks and people say that it's the worst stylus ever, and the best now is...

NoteApp w/OCR, PhatPad or Underscore Notify

Didn't know OCR was different, thanks for clarifying. :) I did read those threads, and even posted in one of them. Then I tried posting this new thread, specifying what I've learned so far ... But I guess I might conclude that no one here has tried both PhatPad and Underscore Notify and has an...

NoteApp w/OCR, PhatPad or Underscore Notify

I want to get a notes/annotations app that does handwriting recognition (OCR) and is pleasant to use. Most apps, like NoteShelf and Peninsulate lack OCR. NotesPlus will get it later, but so far it seems like Underscore Notify (with in-app purchase) and PhatPad are the alternatives. If I read...

Integrated Calendar(s) and Tasks/Todo's (and notes?)

Today I decided to give CalenGoo a try. And, wow, I'm actually impressed. It's quick (even on my iPhone3G), universal, stable and I really like the view, tasks integration and zooming/flipping ... And I was greatly suprised by finding a switch to "Show iPhone/iPad calendars". Amazing, and it...

Integrated Calendar(s) and Tasks/Todo's (and notes?)

Hm, I might try to migrate away from other CalDAV's and only use Google Calendar. The CalenGoo, Pocket Informant and SmartPad looks interesting. Is CalenGoo pretty responsive? Saw some (older) reviews complaining about sync time. It's certainly interesting, and very affordable, considering it...

Integrated Calendar(s) and Tasks/Todo's (and notes?)

I haven't found a way to get the MobileMe CalDAV password protected .ics subscribed to in Google Calendar. You can read both google and other caldav's in iCal, but not read/write to MobileMe from Google Calendar. Anyway, anyone tested Agendus for iPad. Not too promising reviews so far, maybe...

Integrated Calendar(s) and Tasks/Todo's (and notes?)

Yes, SmartPad looks good (and even more expensive) ... Hadn't heard about that one. To bad there's no demo versions in app store ... I was just reading the App store description of Pocket Informant HD again. Does it sync with MobileMe/CalDAV directly? Or just Google Calendar? It was stated that...

Integrated Calendar(s) and Tasks/Todo's (and notes?)

SaiSuke Free does not seem to have tasks (only notes) and I could only choose to sync one calendar at a time. It's much slower than the built in Calendar and Google Cal only.

Integrated Calendar(s) and Tasks/Todo's (and notes?)

I am in need of a good calendar app that - can access the iOS calendars (or sync with MobileMe/CalDAV and Google Calendar directly) As a minimum I need both MobileMe and GoogleCal (multiple calendars and shared/delegated calendars) - integrates tasks in the calendar and syncs tasks/todo's with...

What's a simple notepad app with handwriting recognition??

Underscore Notify looks really good, but reading through the feature list, it seems that it does not have shape reognition (arrows, geometric figures etc.) that is found in Notes+ and PhatPad. Not sure how important that is, though.(?) NotesPlus looks really full featured (when OCR will be...
