Hey everyone, this looks like a great place for ipad users. I'm from NJ and love learning how to use idevices to their limits. I'm a complete mac user and have been for a few years. I hope to be able to gain some knowledge about my ipad which I recently perchased.

Sending it back in DFU mode would probably be better than jailbroken I guess. I appreciate both of your responses. I guess I will have to deal with that issue when it comes back.

I have a jailbroken 1st gen ipad that I need to send in for a fix but I'm unable to reconnect it to itunes for a restore (hence the fix). Does anyone have an idea how to restore to factory without itunes? I'm kinda stumped and don't want to send in a jailbroken device.
