You cannot organize an ipad like a PC - at least not from the iPad itself. There are PC programs like DiskAid that will allow you to access your iPad in an explorer like manner, but be wary of trying to change the folder structure. You may cause the OS to 'not see' the pictures anymore.

Not so. There are programs that let you place files like mp3s in the ipad music folders. iTunes alternaitives if you will. Google your question and you'll find lots of programs to move your music without iTunes or syncing. You still need to be connected...unless Home Sharing would work...

This is an iPad forum. Silverlight is a browser entension (sort of) for Internet Explorer on a PC. Doesn't apply to iPad.

We use an app called Cozi. It's a calendar, todo, tasks, journal, etc app. It also can be updated via the web, has an Outlook add-in too. Just create a single sing-in and anyone can access and modify. Additionally, if you have MS Office, you can use One Note.
