    Poor internet performance since ios6

Try resetting the network. Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network. I found I was having similar problems with my pocket wifi stick. I thought the ISP was slowing my connection because I'd gone over the usage limit. When I found out I hadn't gone over the limit, I looked for other solutions. I...

    Quasar

I'm able to use a 4 finger vertical swipe to bring the multitask bar up, but the 4 finger horizontal swipe to switch between apps doesn't seem to work. I don't use it anyway with Quasar because I can just tap the window I want to use. When an app is running fullscreen, I can use 5 finger pinch...

    Quasar

Not sure what you mean. I still have multi-touch gestures with Quasar.

    Quasar

When I first tried it on my iPad2, it was pretty buggy (freezing, respringing, etc) and there were a few updates that didn't seem to improve the stability of it at all. But the most recent update seems to have fixed most of the instability for me. I say most because I found it does freeze up if...

    Quasar

You can drag the bottom right corner to resize the window, but there is no way to specify a default size for new windows. Perhaps the developer will add that option in a future update if there is enough interest in it.

Does iPad have directory structure that allows access across apps?

In all iDevices, there is a file/directory structure but it is hidden from the user so you can't access it like a computer. The app you use to "save" a file (some of them) may have an option to open the file in another app such as Dropbox or to upload it somewhere like iCloud. Then, your Epson...

iFile - The ultimate filesystem manager

A number of pages back in this thread someone asked about Numbers, or atleast about apps that seem to use an internal file database. The files don't show up in the app's Documents folder in iFile (or any file browser). What you can do with these apps though is to use the iTunes File Sharing...

How to view a file in filebrowser....

In iFiles, go into Applications, AVplayer, Documents, InBox and see if it's in there. If it's there, cut and paste it into the Documents folder. Then start AVplayer and see if it shows up. That happened to me once when I used "Open in AVplayer" and AVplayer started but the video file was no...

    Watch movies online on iPad?

Check the app store to see if your local tv stations have apps available. Some of them can even use AirPlay to stream the show through your AppleTV so you can watch it on a bigger screen.

    Photos on ipad2

Not using the default photo app. It's pretty basic. You can add the same images to multiple albums, but you have to select the images one at a time. There are other apps available like Photo Manager Pro which offers more advanced features, but I don't know if merging folders is one of them.

Apple Launches New iPad Smart Case to Cover Front and Back

In Canada, the smart case is $55 + taxes. I just got the dark grey one here in Vancouver. $55 + 12% HST = $66.60 :o

    Camera Kit not recognized?

Also, as far as camera compatibility goes, if it says it is not supported, check the cameras settings for anything with PTP in it. For example my Canon Rebel XT, it said it was not supported but I found a setting that I could change to "Print/PTP" and then it worked - after rebooting the iPad.

    Dropbox

You could just use the send to iTunes option. Then when you sync with iTunes on your iMac just go to the Apps tab, scroll down to the list of apps that share their documents with iTunes, find Pages, select the document, click "Save to" and save it where you want.

Transfering photos from my memory card

Keep in mind, when you connect your camera and turn it on, a message might pop up saying the device is not supported. That might not be true! That happened to me. Turns out there's an item in my camera's built-in configuration menu that's called "connection:" and it was set to "pc...
