Folders like the Cydia tweak FolderEnhancer, where instead of when opening a folder you get just that, a folder with a very limited number of apps, you're instead greeted with an entirely new page, fully capable of scrolling left and right for more apps, and your wallpaper still intact.

iFile is pretty awesome, and simply becomes more and more useful as you get more tweaks. If, for example, you have VLC, you can drop whatever videos you want to into the media folder using iFile to watch them. Or you can browse your folders using iFile and play any video you have saved anywhere...

Do you know if this plays nice with Pages? I notice that this underlines misspelled words but Pages does that as well... does this cause any issues that anyone might know of?

It sounds like you have voiceover on but your volume must be down since you can't hear the voice. This function is for people with limited to no sight. To disable this, try triple clicking the home button. It should either turn off or give you a menu to turn it off.
