Vision and large older fingers make typing on my iPhone much more difficult than on my iPad. As mentioned by other posters, I use the phone and iPad for different applications. Although I have mostly the same apps on both devices.

The older I get the clumsier I get. So, I use a case and Zagg on both front and back. I find with out those protective qualities I am more likely to put dings and scratches on the electronics I use most often.

My wife, with input from my technologically savvy daughters bought it for me as a 60th birthday present. They all know I have had an iPod attached to my body for the past few years and the iPad was a natural progression. I was both surprised and grateful for such a wonderful gift.
