If the photo album was synced from iTunes you can't delete directly on iPad, what you need to do is resync it again via iTunes and uncheck the selection of the photo album. Only photos on Camera Roll can be deleted directly on iPad.

Hmmm, just a thought, if Apple helpdesk also can't sort it out, can you try ask a replacement from them?? It's unacceptable that you bought a 4G+WiFi model but you can't use cellular network for internet connection.

Here's the printscreen to help you out. If in your iPad the one that directly under "carrier" is mobile data, then that's the one you need to set first (change to ON to use internet using cellular connection)

Are you sure your iPad already got the carrier logo and signal on the top left screen???

i actually never had any problem saving files from ipad back to the pc/laptop using file sharing apps in iTunes. Another option for your case maybe you can use the cloud service sharings such as skydrive or dropbox?

What technique??? You just plug the wire to the hole and voila the sim tray will be ejected. If you happened don't bring the wire and want to eject any object/tool that can fit the hole also will do. It's not that hard really, so I don't understand the fuss regarding "prodding for an eternity"...

Yes, of course you can access facebook, twitter, tumblr via any web browsers (safari, or any other browsers that you had installed in your ipad). You even can install a single applications that allows you to read facebook, twitter, etc (e.g : flipboard, g-whizz!, etc)
