Welcome pduffer here on iPf board. Your Question seemed extremely demanding to me in this real world as most of the android followers wants to import things you mentioned from iPhone, but it seems like connecting two ends of a river together at the moment. This is what personally I feel.

Welcome to the iPF board. I think that problem could be solved by just a quick device reboot as sometimes when such abnormal behavior is seen because of malfunctioning of setting so it is best advised to restart the device so that device can take new fresh setting from the start.

You can Import your photos from Mac to iPad through a Photo Manager App like Photos to Albums for iPad and can delet those files from ipad through a basic File Manager app as described above by fiat.

Thats quite nice actually that email option worked for you. BTW there are other options also through which you can quickly import your excel and docx files and edit them. I am using files finder edition for the same functionality on my ipad. it worked quite well for me as a file explorer.

No, I did have heard about such an app till now but I wish it would be because same problem is with me. I often forget my wallet and key at public places which i can't figure out exactly where i have left them. I know if there will be such an app. it will be rocking for guys like us .

Now you can try files-finder edition. I am using it own on my ipad and it's extremely simple to use for users who are not from mac environment.Windows users will find it much similar to explorer and mac users will see it just like finder perhap's that is why app name is Files-Finder Edition
