It is actually better to have it plugged in at all times. Because then it doesn't use your battery at all, which means less wearing on it. But don't get too crazy about it, why have 12hour battery life if you never use it?

Bought a wire photo frame stand from dollar store and reworked the corners to fit the iPad, only it doesn't have room for the dock connector on the bottom, so of I want portrait I have to put it up side down. Added friction sheet rolled onto the frame for stability and protection (for my iPad).

If you read the mini manual that came with the iPad, it tells you just wipe with a piece of cloth. Don't use any solutions because it destroys the anti-fingerprint coating.

I downloaded the iOS 5 update package and tried to do the update but iTunes won't let me it just says incompatible software. So I had to download it with iTunes (because the first time I tries it it says 20hours left), but then I open up the iTunes download location, it's the exact same file! Wtf?
