I figured it out, deleted the free ver and downloaded a different ver that I had on a previous iPAD 1st gen and were good to go. Can play without a internet connection.

Anyone play Scrabble on this device, I downloaded the latest ver of scrabble free from the app store but when I try to play offline it won't let me and whats a server. There must be a way to play this offline I hope. Can't use wi-fi when travelling with wife in car on holidays.

My iPAD 1st Generation is not charging anymore either, will be purchasing a new one shortly. The iPAD Pro is a little to big so and the mini to small so pretty easy to determine what to buy (iPAD Air).

Good points to consider. So with my current 1st Gen iPad using a Micro Sim Card, are there any newer models currently out that will take this sim and just switch over the card for immediate service. Some I think take a Nano Sim that is smaller.

Love playing this game but does anyone know where the Ipad gets the words when your playing. In advanced they play many words that I have never heard of, just curious.

Update: Picked up a Apple Composite AV Cable at my local Best Buy. Works perfectly for watching movies from the IPAD, can know adjust the volume louder from the TV remote.

I download movies from ITunes and usually just watch then on my Ipad. I have the standard type TV (not a flat screen). Is there a way to watch the Ipad movie on my TV. I also have a MacBook Pro and use cable internet connection. Thanks for any help. Paul
