Hello,

I bought a portable battery pack and it's fully charged and when I connect my USB to the portable battery pack and then hook the other end into my mini it says Not Charging. how do I fix this problem? (I'm running IoS 7)

Is this battery pack made to be compatible with your Ipad? Chances are, the power output is not enough for your Ipad to start charging.

Yeah it says (ipod 3,4,5 ipad 2,3,4 and mini and iPhone 3GS, 4, 4s, 5, 5s , 5c)

Do you own any of the other compatible devices? So you can try to see if the other devices do charge?

yes, IOS 7 tries to reject non-approved cables.

Google for a fix, I saw one somewhere recently.

Hi xTyler - please provide the brand & model of the portable battery pack that you own, and yes the cable could be an issue so checking that out would be useful - for myself 'on the road' I use the Lumsing (great review on Amazon) which provides the 10+ Watt power (i.e. 5V x 2+ Amps) needed to charge the iPad - this has worked fine w/ my iPad 2 (w/ the old connector) & my wife's iPad Mini w/ the new one - Dave :)

Hi xtyler--I just went and grabbed my mophie juice pack and used my apple cables to connect. Mine works fine. So, try using one of the Apple cables to try to charge it. See if that helps.
