I can not get any YouTube video to play in Safari. Ones at it was fine next day it will not play either from a link posted in a forum, or straight from YouTube site in Safari. Any ideas what's going on here?

I'm having the same problem. YouTube videos suddenly stopped working. I have reset, reset the network, reset my wifi multiple times. This comes a couple of days after updating to iOS 6. Oddly, I can view YouTube on my work wifi.

My roommates iPad also quit playing any YouTube videos? What can cause this. YouTube works fine on my laptop, same network as mine and my roommates iPads.

OK. I take no responsibility for this. Let's get that disclaimer out of the way first. I have not tried this, mainly because I haven't needed to.

In another thread someone mentioned that they changed their DNS, and got YouTube working again. Google have set up a public DNS server, and since YouTube is owned by Google, it's a fair bet that this will work.

I'm not going to attempt to type out the instructions. I'll give you the web address so you can get them directly from the author. However, this word of warning. Write down your present settings before you change a thing, then if it doesn't work, you should be able to re-enter your settings and be none the worse for wear.

Here's where to find the instructions. http://www.macinstruct.com/node/452

    Good luck.

Rebooted no joy. I have found if I turn on my VPN app(Cloak) YouTube works fine. If I turn off the VPN app, YouTube stops working, I am not tech savvy enough to know why it's doing this, can someone explain this to me?
