YouTube App - Can't see the TV shows ??

Hi
new to ipad and just got onto youtube via the app supplied and i can't see the tv shows and i have no idea how to find them. Are they excluded from he ipad add?

arn't all youtube vids in flash?
The apple supplied app plays all the others why not the tv shows?

No, not all YouTube videos are in Flash, it's slowly being offered in HTML5 as well (which the iPad can play). But there are still a large amount of videos in Flash. They won't display in the iPad YouTube app, and they won't play even if you try to search through YouTube manually.

Does this mean that an 'offending' you tube file simply doesn't appear on an ipad? There's not even an entry saying that it exists, but you can't watch it? If so, you would never know that it existed in the first place. A PC will be required to check you tube to even know there was something missing. Wow. welcome to China!

Use a web browser. No one said you HAD to use the Youtube app.

If you use the web browser (Safari, Atomic, etc) to navigate the standard YouTube site, you will find the videos listed, but you won't be able to watch them.
