Recently updated WWF on my IPad and now the app is not working. Do I need re-install? Anyone else have this problem? Appreciate your help...have 9 games waiting!!!

Hi there, welcome!!

Anytime an app acts up, try to do these immediate fixes and see if that helps.

Force the app to quit by pushing the home button twice to bring up your multi-task bar. This will show all the apps that you have visited. By long pressing the app in question, it will begin to jiggle-press the red circle with the negative sign on the app. It will only quit the app and not delete. Than try to re-open the app and test out.

If that doesn't work, restart the iPad by pressing the power switch down to power off.

Third is to do a soft reset by holding the power switch and home button together until you see the apple logo. Hope that helps!

Thank you for your quick reply. Followed your steps and WWF still flashes on and then off right away. Any other ideas?

Go ahead and delete it and re-install. See if that works.

If I delete and re-install, will I lose the players? Another words, will I have to start over?

I am not sure. Some games connected to Game Center will save your game settings for you. I don't play this game, so maybe others can help.

Have you tried to restart your iPad by powering off?

No, you'll be fine. Your games are stored on the WWF server, not on your iPad. So, go ahead and delete it and then try re-downloading it. you'll have to sign back in again, but the first time you open the newly installed app will reload all your games.

After several attempts without deleting, everything started back up. Wish I knew what caused the problem but it is fixed now and thank you for your help.
