I take a lot of notes at work and the pre-loaded notes app just isn't cutting it for me. Someone recommended Pages but at $9.99 and with not so great reviews I'm finding myself reluctant to purchase. Does anyone have any suggestions???

    Thanks :)

Theres a lot of apps available. Pages isn't bad. I use something called writepad with some success. I originally got it for the handwriting recognition. I thought I could take notes with a stylus and have everything converted to text. But that never really worked out for a lot of writing. I eventually broke down and got a bluetooth keyboard. Anyway, have a look at writepad.

It really depends on what you are looking for.

I use Evernote. Because it syncs with my iPhone, iPad , PC and Mac, all my notes are available on all devices automatically.

I can take short notes on the iPad and update them later on my PC or Mac

I've recently installed Audiotorium, for note taking. So far, I'm very happy with it. Note taking and sound recording... is very useful. I have Pages, but I don't use it very often.
