It just loads about half way and then stops. Then a couple min later a message appears saying can't connect to server. But works fine on a pc. So it's not the site. Cleared cookies. And router seems good. Aim somewhat of a novice with this stuff

The best way forward is to start with the simple stuff first. Try powering the iPad off completely - i.e. not just putting it to Sleep - by pressing and holding the Power button until the slider control appears. Accept the offer to switch off and then, when the iPad has completely powered down (blank screen), press and hold the Power button again until the white Apple logo appears and then wait for it to power back up. This simple procedure cures a whole load of problems and even Apple recommend you do this at least once a week.

Outside my iPad, or was it inside?

Covers.com

That website loads without trouble on an iPad 1.

Have you installed the newest iOS firmware? Or rather, which version are you currently using?

And have you restarted Safari?
It can be done as follows:
-double tap the home button, to enter the multitasking bar
-press onto the safari app, until it starts wiggling
-press on the red circle

Restarted safari, didn't seem to change anything. The version says 4.2.1 (8c148) it's a original iPad not a ipad2. It loads other sites very well just not the covers.com for some reason.
