Wireless connection constantly dropped after iOS 7 update

Ever since I downloaded the new iOS 7 (including the most recent 7.0.2) I've had problems connecting to the internet. This happens mostly when I try to stream videos on anything (netflix, hulu, youtube, etc) but also just loading websites. With videos I get an error message "Network unavailable. Please check your internet connection or proxy settings and try again." I thought it was my internet but actually streamed the same video simultaneously with my phone (droid) and it worked fine on the phone but dropped on my iPad. I tried resetting network settings twice and still nothing. Any ideas? And fwiw using an iPad 4 w/ wifi
