Will I be able to upgrade to IOS6

Yes it is legal to jailbreak your iPad, but unfortunately it will void your Apple warranty. If you do ever have a problem with your iPad and need to take it back to Apple you can just remove the Jailbreak first. Not sure if you have warranty as you have bought it second hand. You will be able to upgrade to IOS6 but you will lose your jailbreak then will need to wait for the next jailbreak to be released.
