Unless the iPad is connected to the charger/electrics, WiFi will automatically turn off when the iPad is put to sleep or turned off. This is a battery saving feature and cannot be changed on a stock iPad. The only way to prevent this is to ensure your iPad is plugged in to a power source when it's asleep.

That's what I said. If the iPad is not plugged in, WiFi WILL disconnect when the iPad is put to sleep. This is not a problem - this is normal operations.

It will NOT disconnect if the iPad is plugged in. Again, this is normal.

So, your problem is that the iPad disconnects from WiFi before a download finishes (because it goes to sleep)?

You cannot fix the "WiFi turning off problem" because it's a feature built into the software. However, you can go to the General section of your Settings app and adjust your "Auto-Lock settings. You can either make it so the iPad goes to sleep after a longer period or ypu can set the Auto-Lock to "Never." If its set to Never, the iPad will not go to sleep and therefore not turn off WiFi.

There is nothing to solve, that feature is beneficial for the reasons stated. The solution was also clearly stated. There may be a touch of language difficulty operating here. OP should consider carefully re-reading Marilyn's response .

or it's like IOS 6.0.1
And does it become optional in IOS6.0.2 ( it's available just for IPhone5 and IPad mini )?

Yes it does. No, it's not optional on any iOS version. WiFi automatically turns off when the iPad goes to sleep unless it's plugged into the charger. You can set the auto lock to never as advised in an earlier post, this will prevent the iPad from going to sleep, at the cost of running your battery down at a faster rate, which is why WiFi turns off when the iPad goes to sleep, it's a battery saving feature.
