Which texting app can be used to send & receive texts from mobile phones?

There is no app that can send and receive texts directly on the iPad without jail breaking. But there are several apps that host remote text services through the Developer's website and have an app that supports this, making it appear as though you're sending and receiving text messages on the iPad. The availability varies from country to country so you'll need to let us know which country you're in.
