Where to put video files?

I have MP4 movie files on my device.

I have OPlayer HD and PlayerXTreme.

I can't seem to figure out where to put the files to have them show up as playable in these players.

OPlayer seems to suggest it puts its stuff in 'My Documents' while PlayerXTreme does 'Downloads'

I've put the movie files in multiple folders with those titles but none seem to make them show up :-/

I can't even seem to find the applications folder, because I figure they might be embedded in there. So that might be the place to star.

Where do I go in WinSCP to access my application folders on iPad Air?

How are you trying to transfer the files? ITunes?
