I'm asking for the name and location of this site. When was it mentioned for the first time, and what is it?

A known Roman Emperor resided here for a few years.

Here's a different view, also from Wikipedia:

This photo wasn't taken recently. The area looks different now.

It's the partially rebuilt ruins of the house of Lucius at the Legionary camp at Carnutum in present day Austria. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnuntumimage.jpgimage.jpgMarcus Aurelius resided here for three years in 172-175 A.D.

That's it. :) I already thought that no one can find it, when I know the location. o_O

One question isn't answered yet: when was it mentioned for the first time? It's there in the link...

The first mention of Carnutum occurred during the reign of Augustus in 6 A.D.

As I won't have time to monitor a challenge, any member who chooses may post the next challenge.

Pictured below is a section of a large freshwater archipelago. It is a designated national park territory, populated by tens of thousands of islands.

    Looking for the following .....

    Name of the park.
The body of water it's situated on.
    Approximate number of islands.
    Name of the largest island.
Name of the very old geological formation the park is part of.
BONUS question if it's too easy ..... It is habitat to what endangered species of reptile.

    Good luck and have fun!

It's the Thousand Islands National Park, situated in the Thousand Islands Region of Saint Lawrence River.
The park has 21 islands and many smaller islets, the region has about 1,864 islands. The largest island is Wolfe Island.
It is part of the Canadian Shield.

The islands are habitat to the grey rat snake.

Thousand Islands park is a 90 minute drive from my location - but it's not the location in the challenge. Too far south.
But both share the same connected fresh water system.
