I have a jailbroken iPad2. I use the atomic browser. When I go to hold down on the picture so I can save it. Once I get to that point I have three options. Please see below

1. Save image to photo app (what I should have chosen)

2. Save image to files (I used this option) Where would my images be saved? Yes I have ifiles.

The Atomic Web browser saves the images within itself (if you pick that option). Once you've selected to save to files, it's saved. Here's some pictures on how to find your photos once you've selected that option (within the Atomic Web browser):

AtomicWeb1.jpg

AtomicWeb2.jpg

AtomicWeb3.jpg

And there's no jail breaking needed - Atomic Web has the pictures in it's own "sandbox." I mean, you CAN go to the app with iFile ... but there's no need.

Oh, and once you get to where the photo is in Atomic Web, press on it again and you will be offered (again) to save the picture to your Photo app:

AtomicWeb4.jpg

Hope this helps.
