When I am transferring photos to my ipad it comes with black bars.

I recently went on a trip to Europe and took a lot of photos with my digital camera. Now, when I am transferring the photos to my ipad, it is not showing as full screen in the photo library. The pictures borders have black bars. Only the photos I took with my ipad is showing as full screen without the bars. How to fix this? Do I need to change the resolution of the pictures?

If your camera is 16:9 format, your 4:3 iPad will display bars at top and bottom, just like watching HD movies on an old TV. If it's some other case, you should upload a screen shot so we can see what you mean.
