Whaty is this icon and gow do i get rid f it

This icon recently showed up on my ipad. I can drag it all around the perimeter of the screen but i don't want it. Does anyone know how i can delete it . I would like tp know where it came from also,

Ah. You've actives the Assistive Touch feature. To get rid of it, navigate to General tab in your Settings app. then, scroll down the right side until you come to the line titled "Accessibility" and press it. All the way at the bottom (under the Physical & Motor line) you'll see the line "AssistiveTouch." press that line and then ensure it is turned OFF.

Then, that white button should be gone.

Interesting that the Assistive Touch control does not show up in screenshots. Then again, trying to show what the control looks like is probably the only time you would want it to show.
