Sunds simple, but what if you delete the original mail application, and you
Want to re install it.
You go to App Store and look for what ????

Reason I ask, is a friend of mine upgraded to ios5.
Now when ever he reply to mail, the target is getting corrupted fonts.
I want to suggest delete and re install MAIL.
But what exactly should be re installed ?

Think before you Sync

Pre-installed apps cannot be deleted. If you press and hold any icon you'll see that they all start to jiggle but that the pre-installed apps don't have the option to delete them.

So your friend will have to find another solution..has he tried quitting the app completely in the multi-task bar?

Thanks.
Well seems like a real problem. Just got a report from another guy at work with the same issue, after upgrading to iOS5.
That is why I recommend every one that has iOS4 with a foreign language, to wait and see.
The English iOS5 is checked
intensively , while others , I am sure - less.
It is most definatly because of the changes in FONTS.
Someone forgot that there are FONTS other then English...

If a stock app has problems that can not be fixed by closing it or a reset, the only solution (that I know of) is a restore.

Edit: or maybe reloading the firmware via DFU mode. You'll have to go tot he hacking section for that since I've never had to play with it.

I doubt you need to reinstall the OS. Before you do that try this:

Delete the email account from the iPad.

Power down the iPad and restart.

Setup the email account again.
