We had it two weeks ago, two days with the Star Trek movies the whole day long.

That's a very good movie, I watched it earlier this year. I never realized what problems George VI had with public speaking until I saw the movie.

That's a detail that I didn't know as well, even though I'm interested in history.

The movie is great, as is it's cast, and of course the music. I love the short version of Beethoven's Allegretto of his 7th symphony.

I just finished watching a BBC documentary on the building of the Bell Rock Lighthouse off the coast of Scotland. The lighthouse was completed in 1811 and has remained in service to this day; the oldest offshore lighthouse in the world.

A very good choice. I waited in line for over 5 hours to see the movie in Seattle, Washington in 1977 when the movie first came out.

That's quite a distance from your location now. Were you near Seattle at that time, or did you go there, just to see the movie?

I was in the navy at the time and my ship was making a port visit to Seattle at the time. I saw The Empire Strikes Back at the same theatre three years later in 1980.
