When clicking on a Christian gifts link, my iPad redirected to a porn site. This has never happened to me before. How did I get this and how do I fix it? It has only happened to one link so far. Is there a chance it will happen to other links?

I would say this is nothing to do with your iPad. Is your iPad jailbroken? If so, have you installed anything unusual lately?
There is nothing I know of which is malevolent and in the wild at the moment which would do this.
Has the website in question been hacked? Have you tried the same link from a desktop?

Also, for the avoidance of doubt, please don't post the link here as if it is redirecting to p0rn we cannot allow that to be exposed (pardon the pun) here.

I don't know about some links, but if you're doing google searches, you can set the search engine filters to show varying levels of "adult" content (all the way to none). This is done online in the google option menu.
That can help keep your surfing "clean".
