Waze gets hands free support in update.JPG

9to5 Mac reports that navigation app Waze has got three useful new features via the latest update.

The first of the new features is a hands-free mode, where you can simply say “OK Waze” to enter common destinations without using your hands. Several other commands can also be used in the hands-free mode, including “Take me home” and “Find a gas station.”

Currently this feature is only available in the US, UK, and Canada, but hopefully it will be rolling out to other territories very soon.

The second new feature is a motorcycle mode, which will offer motorcycle-specific navigation that will take you down routes that other riders frequent. This will include roads that are too narrow for cars to use, or congested roads with filter lanes that motorbikes can use.

Also included in the update is carpool support in 23 states and cities in the US.
