Want to unlock disabled Ipad without restoring to itunes

My nephew was playing with my ipad and put the wrong password in too many times. Now it's disabled and says to connect to itunes. I don't use itunes, so it's not backed up on there. I have a lot of stuff on my ipad and really don't want to loose everything. I've looked around online and can't find any answers that would allow me to get back in without loosing everything. Probably obvious...but I know the password.


I'm hoping there's an unofficial workaround as apple support said there's no official solution to this aside from restoring.

In the last year on this forum, I've seen this question many times, and never seen a positive answer.

Sorry, but I don't think such a workaround exists.
