As we reported last week, Apple was supposedly shipping iPad units to selected (lucky) sources for reviews. Well those units have arrived to their destination and the initial reviews are out!

The first comes in from Walk Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal. His comments were very positive by saying "it's pretty close to a laptop killer" and he also noted the battery life was longer then Apple's 10 hour claim with 11:28 hours of battery life.

"After spending hours and hours with it, I believe this beautiful new touch-screen device from Apple has the potential to change portable computing profoundly, and to challenge the primacy of the laptop. It could even help, eventually, to propel the finger-driven, multitouch user interface ahead of the mouse-driven interface that has prevailed for decades."
