Viber app shuts down my Ipad2

Hello,I have just installed the free app Viber on my Ipad,and when I decided to erase it,my Ipad is locked on the Sttings area,it will not turn off and otherwise will not respond.Please help!

Try a reset. This won't delete any data.

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends you restart the iPad at least once a month.

and then a reset if that does not work.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart. takes a bit longer than a restart.

Thanks so much,I did that and it unlocked,I have the impression,reading some of the other posts here,that the problem might have been not Viber,but the insuficient memory of my iPad (500 MB).
Anyways,I am glad I am back to life!
