(Very) New to all this.....

Hello, have had my iPad for two hours now and am pretty pleased I've got this far.
I expect I'll have plenty of questions, but to start off, how can I teach the iPad my name? It keeps correcting me which is a bit annoying after a lifetime of spelling it out carefully for everyone else!

Welcome to the forum.

Try entering your name in the Contacts app. That should fix it.

Me, I just turn the auto-correct off under Settings > General > Keyboard. I prefer to make my own mistakes.
