Me again. My iPad 2 has Verizon 3G capability. How can I use my iPad while traveling throughout Ireland. I want to use it for it's mapping, B&B locations, etc.

    Thanks!

Your iPad has GPS capability, which will work even if there is no SIM card or Internet connection. While online, you can zoom into an area you plan to visit, later when you are offline you can go back to that same area.

Thanks for the help with GPS. Any clue on internet connectivity via 3G?

You would have to contact the local carrier I wherever you're visiting and inquire about pre-paid SIM cards. Prices and availability vary from country to country.
