I have got a AT&T micro SIM for my iPad that I have used twice in the last year. I setup the account on the pad for the rolling monthly contract, that I cancel as leaving the States, again via the pad. However, the SIM never works straight away, it says it cannot find a network. I have to attach to a wifi network, then go into CELLULAR and turn the data on and off, and then it finds the AT&T network and I am fine from then on. Last time I used it, was on a trip to NYC and it caused some problems as I could have really used the pad to sort out a problem with the car that was picking us up. So, want to be able to plus the SIM in and go on my next trip in Sept, any ideas on what is wrong and how I need to fix it???
