Username change

As I cannot log in using my username, due to the use of the Spanish letter ç, I would like to change it to mesqueunclub without losing any of my friends, posts, logo etc.
Can this be done without too much hassle?

Yes it is possible. A change of user name will not change anything in your account, nothing will be lost. If you agree, I can forward your request to the forum administrators who will do the actual name change.

Thank you so much for your quick response, scifan. I would appreciate this. I just wonder how our Spanish friends go on on their Spanish dedicated forum? I really didn't want to change my username but I can see it is causing a problem and it would make life easier all round.

Once your user name has been changed, you will receive a notification email. You will then be able to log in with your new user name and password. Let us know how it works.

Do you login to the Spanish forum separately? Your last post there is confusing me. You should be able to access the Spanish subforum as well when you login to iPF.

Sorry for the confusion but no, I do not log in separately to the Spanish forum. The question I was trying to ask was do our Spanish friends have difficulty using the Spanish alphabet on the forum? Having recently visited there I can see that they do. A lot of the letters appear totally different, as in my username, the Spanish letter ç appearance as ç that has been the problem with the log in. It only caters for American/English.

I thought I should add that I am in no way complaining. I have truly grown to appreciate my iPad and this forum. I have only ever received useful and helpful advice on here. That says a great deal for the members, so to all, thank you.

Excellent, mate. I have just started to play as I go to Florida every year and only play in the sun, unlike when I fly fish. Bought myself a starter set if clubs this month but that was the day I flew back to the UK so I left them in Florida till next year. Must admit, I am beginning to enjoy the game.
